Artha ("we", "us", or "our"), a product of 5EBS LLP, is built to help you manage your personal finances privately and securely. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how it is protected.

1. Data We Collect

• Account information: Your email address, used for authentication and to send your optional monthly ledger report.
• Financial data: Transactions, scheduled events, and portfolio entries you create inside the app. This data is stored in your personal account in our cloud database and is never shared with third parties.
• Device and usage data: Basic crash reports and error logs to help us fix bugs. These do not include personal financial details.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Artha app and its features.
• To send you a monthly transaction report by email (only if you have an active subscription and have not unsubscribed).
• To diagnose crashes and technical issues.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Supabase, a secure cloud platform. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Row-level security policies ensure each user can only access their own data.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.

4. Third-Party Services

• Supabase — database and authentication hosting. Privacy policy

5. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the Profile screen inside the app, which permanently removes all your data from our systems.

6. Monthly Email Reports

If you have an active Artha subscription, you will receive a monthly transaction report on the 3rd of each month. You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any report email, or by contacting us.

7. Children's Privacy

Artha is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised date.
